Everybody sells lunch bags by the litre. Nobody measures the box.

Why we exist

Lunch bags are compared on capacity and price, and the three things that decide whether one lasts a year — the liner seam, the internal base measurement and the closure gauge — appear on nobody’s quote.

All three are settled before anything is cut, and none of them is expensive.

The smell is the seam

A stitched-in fabric liner is perforated by its own stitch line, and behind it sits absorbent seam allowance that no cloth, sponge or brush will ever reach.

That trapped moisture is what people mean when they say a lunch bag has gone off. A welded liner has no stitch line and no hidden allowance, so there is nowhere for it to live.

Measure the box, not the bag

Litres describe volume, not shape. A rectangular meal-prep box will not lie flat in a base a couple of centimetres too narrow, however generous the capacity.

So we quote internal base length and width against a container you name, and we will ask you to measure it before we quote. For mixed groups we size to the largest common footprint rather than to an average, because an average fails everybody at the top.

Five hundred cycles a year

Nothing else on the bag works as hard as the closure, which is why it is what fails.

Zip gauge, slider type and pull size, or buckle type and the bar-tacked webbing behind it — all on the quote, so it is a choice rather than an accident.

A name panel is not decoration

Thirty bags in a cloakroom look identical at a distance, and a woven label sewn into a seam is not something a teacher will hunt for.

An external light-coloured panel that takes a laundry marker and survives being wiped is the difference between a bag that comes home and one that does not.

What we are not

We are not a cooler. We make no insulation claim, quote no hours-cold figure, and will not let a lunch bag be bought as temperature control.

Where food safety depends on staying below a temperature for a stated time, that is an insulated cooler and a different product, and we will say so every time.

What we will talk you out of

A pad-sized bag for a floor that gets cleared every evening. A magnetic catch on a bag carried inside a rucksack. A four-roll closure that people will roll twice. The cheapest zip gauge on a bag opened twice a day.

And food containers — we make the bag, not the box, and we would rather point you to the right supplier.
